With Unica, you can further amplify your comfort, with a saddle with the stiffness customized on your body needs. Selle Italia Unica uses the idmatch pressure mapping analysis to find your personal pressures on the saddle.
The 3D printed padding is based on your bespoke data collected during the analysis. Enhance your comfort and performance, thanks to a saddle that delivers a personalized experience with the main contact point on your bike.
Selle Italia Unica is available on the SLR 3D and the Novus Boost Evo 3D saddles, with either Carbon or Elite rails level.
How does it work

Have your Selle Italia Unica experience, with the pressure map analysis, at the authorized centre near you.
Step 02
Order your Unica saddle through the centre. Follow the manufacturing process through the my.idmatch web app.
Step 03
Receive the saddle and complete the positioning at the Unica centre.

Why Unica?
Why is Unica different from every other 3D printed saddle?
Unlike standard 3D printed saddles, Selle Italia Unica is not based on predefined cushioning zones. Every saddle is individually engineered using pressure mapping data collected through the idmatch system, creating a unique lattice structure designed specifically for you.
Will the saddle shape change?
No. The saddle keeps the proven shape of the selected model. What changes is the internal 3D cushioning structure, specifically engineered around your pressure distribution.
Can Unica improve my performance?
Unica optimizes pressure distribution and support where your body needs it most. By reducing unnecessary pressure and improving stability on the saddle, it helps you stay comfortable and maintain an efficient position for longer.
What happens if my bike, or riding position changes?
A change of bike or riding position does not automatically require a new Unica saddle. In most cases, your bike fitter will simply optimize the saddle position to suit your new setup while keeping the personalized support provided by your saddle. If major changes significantly affect your pressure distribution, a new pressure mapping analysis may be recommended.
Is Unica only for professional cyclists?
No. Every cyclist can benefit from a saddle designed around their individual anatomy and riding style, regardless of experience or performance level.

3D printed saddles offer a new level of comfort, thanks to the differentiated cushioning zones. Unica takes this one step further by customizing the saddle’s stiffness entirely to your body’s needs.
After the pressure map analysis, you will receive your Unica saddle in 3 weeks. You can follow the whole manufacturing process on the my.idmatch web app. The saddle will be delivered to the centre where you had the analysis, so that the idmatch expert can fit it to your bike.
To get a Selle Italia Unica saddle, you’ll need to have a pressure mapping analysis at an authorized Unica centre.
After the analysis process, the bike fitter will place the order and will take care of the positioning of your new saddle on the bike.
Yes, you can choose between the Carbon and Elite rails level.
