Ride it
Use the saddle during the 30-day DemoRide period. Test it until you find the perfect positioning. The BRP line on the cover makes it easier to mount the saddle correctly. The BRP is the midpoint where the saddle reaches a width of 70 mm and serves as a reference point for measuring the parameters needed for proper saddle installation (height, setback, distance from the handlebars). Transfer the measurements from your old saddle to the DemoRide to start from your current position.

Send the demo saddle back to us and buy a brand new one online, knowing that it’s the right one. We’re sure you’ll love it, but if it’s not the ideal fit, simply start the process again with a different saddle.

FAQ
One or more DemoRide saddles can be ordered on the website in a manner similar to other products. For the entire duration of the DemoRide, the order value will be retained by Selle Italia as a guarantee for the return of the product in good condition and intact. Once the product is returned and inspected for reconditioning, the customer will receive:
A refund of the order amount with a €25 deduction for DemoRide management, reconditioning, and product cleaning costs.
A coupon code worth 25% of the saddle’s purchase price.
If the order is not returned within the specified timeframe and conditions, the company will retain the full order value as compensation for the unreturned DemoRide saddle.
It is possible to order a DemoRide saddle directly from the website and have it delivered to your home for use over a one-month period.
The DemoRide saddle will arrive in a special Selle Italia bag and packaging to preserve its integrity. The bag must be returned. We recommend keeping the external packaging for easier and quicker repacking of the product.
The saddle must be handled with care and attention. During the DemoRide period, the customer may mount the saddle on their bicycle, ensuring that the seatpost is compatible with the saddle frame. Any damages—assessed definitively by the Selle Italia team—that exceed normal wear and tear will be charged to the customer, and only a partial refund will be issued. Cuts to the cover, scratches, tears, or breaks to the shell are not considered "normal wear and tear."
Acceptable signs of normal wear include typical mounting marks from the seatpost on the frame and minor wear on the cover, such as slight fading or cover abrasion.
If the customer notices unusual wear or damage upon receiving the DemoRide saddle, they must immediately report it to help@calicant.us
The DemoRide saddle must be returned clean and in good condition.
The DemoRide period lasts one month from the date the saddle is delivered to the customer. At the end of this period, the product must be returned to the following address:

We recommend using shipping carriers that provide package tracking to ensure delivery or to promptly address any issues during transit. If you are unable to meet the return deadline, please notify customer service in advance at: help@calicant.us
Once the DemoRide saddle is received and its good condition is verified, the customer will receive a coupon code for a 25% discount, redeemable on the purchase of a saddle at www.selleitalia.com. The discount will be valid for one year from the coupon's issuance and cannot be combined with other discounts. Along with the coupon code notification, the refund will be processed, with €25 retained for handling, shipping, and reconditioning costs.
Incident, Damage, or Theft of the Saddle During the DemoRide
Any incident or damage during the DemoRide period must be reported to customer service immediately to find a solution that satisfies both the customer and Selle Italia.
The report, including photographic documentation and any necessary police reports, must be sent to help@calicant.us
Failure to return the DemoRide saddle or returning it outside the specified timeframe and conditions will result in no refund being issued to the customer, as the full payment for the DemoRide will be considered due. The non-issuance of the refund will still be communicated to the customer.
