In November 2008, after 4 Olympics, Bart Brentjens decided to retire from MTB racing. But his passion for the sport remained strong, so he set up Racing Team Bart Brentjens. His philosophy is to share the passion for mountain biking with the world. The first objective, achieved, was to take two riders to London 2012: mission accomplished with Annie Last and Marek Konwa. But the team shows no signs of slowing and in 2013 it set in motion a new, ambitious sports project: to reach the Olympic Games in Rio.

Mission has been accomplished. The Team is proud to had 3 riders riding at the Olympic Games in Rio 2016, Yana Belomoina (Ukraine), Grant Ferguson (GB) and Rudi van Houts (The Netherlands).
The team still has one big ambition and goal to reach and that is to win a medal at the Olympic Games. our Mission Part 3.
“We have set direction with the Team towards to the next Olympic Games, #GoTokyo2020. Join our ride!
