Team Alè Cipollini

With Alessia Piccolo at the helm, Team Alé Cipollini Galassia was founded in 2011 with the aim of building an Italian-based team, that would nurture excellence and also serve the world of women.
Italian excellence, continuity and innovation with a desire to develop year by year: this is what Alessia Piccolo has in mind with each new season. The number one of the #yellowfluorange line-up is a great believer in the project of the Italian dream women, that was conceived in 2011 and has provided satisfaction in Italy and all over the world. It has achieved some important goals and will be at the Rio Olympics with three riders from three different countries. The Polish champion Malgorzata Jasinska, the young Swede, Emilia Fahlin, and the Spanish climber, Ane Santesteban, will be taking part in the Dream Race.

Alé Cipollini Galassia has won over 150 victories in these six seasons, achieving some important, sought-after successes in road races and stage races on roads in 3 Continents: they have won in Europe, Asia and America.
In 2015 they won the first edition of the prestigious “La Madrid Challenge by La Vuelta” and in the same season they won a stage in the International Women’s Giro d’Italia and the overall ranking for women climbers (Green Jersey). They have always been up with the leaders in races, and in previous seasons they have won the Blue Jersey (best Italian rider in the overall ranking) and the White Jersey (best under-23 rider in the overall ranking).
At least three cyclists from Alé Cipollini Galassia take part in the Road World Championships every year.

The Team’s annual calendar includes all the World Cup races, the Giro Rosa, the Route de France with its prestigious stages together with the male professional riders on the roads of the Tour de France and in the Vuelta de Espana. They also race on the roads of Argentina and Qatar and along the roads through Northern Europe (Belgium, Holland, France, United Kingdom) and “flying” to China and the United States.
