Selle Italia sponsored Nairo Quintana of Movistar Team won the French stage race
Route du Sud with a superb climbing performance. The 22 year old Colombian climber
has taken his fifth win for Movistar, after winning the Queen stage and GC in Murcia, the
Queen stage at the Dauphiné and the Queen stage and GC at Route du Sud.

Post race, Nairo Quintana explained “This victory at the at Route du Sud is for everyone
who has always been supporting me and made reaching this point possible for me.
My teammates did a great job for me; it was a spectacular day or Movistar Team with
Rui Costa’s victory at the Tour de Suisse.”
